We believe that wool is a low impact material as long as it is farmed in a responsible way, as wool is a versatile and durable fibre that should last for many years if cared for correctly. We ensure that as much of our wool as possible is traceable back to the farm in order to guarantee high standards of animal welfare, and in the case of this product, the wool supplier has guaranteed that the fibre is sourced from farms that do not carry out mulesing on their flock.

This is usually where most of the carbon intensity is found as large amounts of energy are required for the production of fabrics.
